For 50 some years I've stood real strong
Holding up fence rows stretching long

But when my fence post days were through
I was twisted and turned and made brand new

No other walking sticks look like me
Certainly none with MY history

I've probably been around longer than you
But OH the things that we can still do!

Poking, pointing, climbing, and walking
When people see US they'll all be talking

The red cedar for my walking sticks really did spend a half a century out in the fields at a family farm in northern Ohio.
